They will replay Javon Solomon at Round 5, Pick 1 for years; that is how good the value is. Not a spot anyone had flagged, which makes it a head-scratcher.
Xavier Thomas at slot 180 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Taking Jordan Magee in the 193rd overall pick is close to grand larceny; a linebacker that good had no business lasting this long. It adds depth where they could use a little.
