For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Cardinals walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons.
Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 4th pick they get a true top target at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
In Round 1, Pick 27 they get protection for the quarterback. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Bo Nix at slot 35 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
