The weekend has a hole in the middle of it named offensive lineman, a need the Bills walked right past.
Landing Styles that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They are betting Bell proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
The trade work was a quiet net positive. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 29 they get the heartbeat of the defense at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They paid a round early for Skyler Bell in slot 74, more than the board wanted. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Domonique Orange in the Round 3 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Tacario Davis slid further than he should have, and pick No. 126 is lovely value for the cornerback. A minor need, but a need all the same.
