The Chargers went off the board in a big way for Drake Nugent, 43 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.
The Barrett steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The Josh Jacobs deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
In the end it comes back to Brock Bowers, and a haul good enough to build on right away.

Good price on Brock Bowers in slot 13, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Quinyon Mitchell at the Round 2 slot is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the cornerback. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
