There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most.

The Delane pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They are betting Lawson proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
