Nothing loud, just a tidy B for the Texans.

The De'Corian Clark pick is the one that will follow the Texans into the fall. They took him 58 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.
Getting Emmanwori where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a red-zone target to build around, outstanding value to boot. A real need, handled.
You do not let a safety like Nick Emmanwori reach the 58th overall pick and blink. They did not. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
They read the board right and Aireontae Ersery was the payoff at pick No. 63. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Cam Skattebo at the 89th pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
No edge and no loss on Darius Alexander in slot 127; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
They talked themselves into Ricky White III at No. 167, and the board did not agree. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
This one needs a full-page explanation: De'Corian Clark in Round 7, Pick 25, miles early. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
