Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Antonio Williams got past him. The Texans do not have to explain a thing at the 106th overall pick.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
The Trey Smith pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In the 28th pick they get a mismatch in the passing game, and a steal at that. A real need, handled.
The board had Sonny Styles higher than the Round 2 slot, and the linebacker fell to them anyway. It fills a real need, too.
Caleb Banks in pick 59 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Antonio Williams in slot 106 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
