The Texans did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Blake Miller fell into the Round 4 slot.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
You do not let a tight end like Kenyon Sadiq reach the Round 2 slot and blink. They did not. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Emmanuel Pregnon slipping to slot 48 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A.J. Haulcy is a better player than pick No. 59 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It adds depth where they could use a little.
