If confidence were a draft strategy, the Texans would have aced it. McKade Mettauer at Round 7, Pick 28 is 32 spots clear of where he belonged.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Kinchens. It is not that Bishop is a bad player; it is that the Texans had louder needs to answer first.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
