B
Houston Texans
Johnson should have been long gone. The Texans pounced, and earned a B.

· 2 steals
· 2 reaches
Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Texans were there to profit. Kaleb Johnson, the No. 39 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 89th pick. More right than wrong, and a B to match.
A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. If Swinson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 25 they get a run-stuffing presence up front. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They paid up for Bradyn Swinson at No. 58 when waiting would have done the job. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Steal is underselling it; Kaleb Johnson at the 89th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They will replay Elic Ayomanor at the 126th pick for years; that is how good the value is. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Cobee Bryant at Round 5, Pick 27 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Garrett Dellinger in the Round 7 slot is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A need, and now a little less of one.
