The one they had to fix is still broken. The Commanders left tight end untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.
On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.

In slot 7 they get a premier pass rusher. A clean fit for the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Malachi Fields at pick No. 71 squarely in line with his ranking. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
