The curious call sets the tone. With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still glaring, the Dolphins used slot 75 on Michael Taaffe, a safety they were not exactly short of.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In the 11th overall pick they get a No. 1 receiver. The biggest hole, addressed.
In the Round 1 slot they get an enforcer at safety at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Joshua Josephs in pick No. 43 is fair value, right on his grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

No drama and no debate, Devin Moore went about where he belonged in the 94th pick. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
