The Patriots lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

LT Overton at No. 63 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They did well to land Deion Burks in the Round 3 slot, just ahead of his grade. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
