Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

That Rosemy-Jacksaint pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

They will need Mahogany to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
