Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Vikings spent No. 109 on Luke McCaffrey, a name the board had a full 34 spots lower.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Drake Maye is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Landing Fuaga that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
