You build a draft on nights like this. Tre Harris had no business being available in slot 219, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.
The skill positions did well by the weekend.
Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.

In pick 1 they get a weapon on the perimeter at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
You do not let an offensive lineman like Wyatt Milum reach the 36th pick and blink. They did not. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Steal is underselling it; Josaiah Stewart at the 67th overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Value with a capital V on Alfred Collins in the Round 3 slot, a genuine coup. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Armand Membou in slot 103 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. It fills a real need, too.
Circle this one: Jake Majors at Round 5, Pick 1 is a fall that decides a draft. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
The board fumbled Tre Harris all the way to pick No. 219, and they scooped it up. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
A offensive lineman of that caliber at No. 220 is the definition of value, full stop. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They barely believed it either: Trey Amos still on the board at the 238th overall pick. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
