You build a draft on nights like this. Mason McCormick had no business being available in No. 193, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In the end it comes back to Joe Alt, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
