The one they had to fix is still broken. The Packers left edge rusher untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
The Oladapo value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The Nubin reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 25 they get a two-high chess piece, reach and all. Need was not the driver here.
Edgerrin Cooper in the 41st pick is fair value, right on his grade. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Mike Sainristil in Round 2, Pick 26 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Value with a capital V on Jaylen Wright in slot 88, a genuine coup. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A reach on Christian Mahogany in the 91st overall pick; the board had better options right there. A need, and now a little less of one.
Javon Foster in pick 127 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Kitan Oladapo slid further than he should have, and the Round 5 slot is lovely value for the safety. Pure best-available; the position was not exactly begging.
