Green Bay Packers

The Packers cashed the board's mistake on Jeanty: A-.

by Swizz · 2025 NFL Draft · 5 picks · 5 steals · 0 reaches
Value A+
Need B
Trades A+
Future B-

The Packers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Ashton Jeanty fell into pick 122.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Caelen Carson gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.

Pick-by-Pick

R2.12 · Pick 44 · Jahdae Barron · CB · rank 14
A cornerback of that caliber at slot 44 is the definition of value, full stop. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
R2.22 · Pick 54 · Walter Nolen · DT · rank 12
The board fumbled Walter Nolen all the way to the Round 2 slot, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R3.12 · Pick 76 · Tre Harris · WR · rank 26
They barely believed it either: Tre Harris still on the board at the 76th overall pick. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
R3.23 · Pick 87 · Wyatt Milum · OT · rank 13
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Wyatt Milum in pick 87, plain and simple. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R4.21 · Pick 122 · Ashton Jeanty · RB · rank 2
Circle this one: Ashton Jeanty at pick No. 122 is a fall that decides a draft. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
