The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
The Stover reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Pick-by-Pick
In No. 7 they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
They paid sticker price for Jordan Morgan in slot 36, and that is fine. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
They took Darius Robinson at par in pick No. 38, which is nothing to complain about. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
A real head-scratcher, Cade Stover in Round 2, Pick 8 is miles ahead of his ranking. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
A reach on Cooper Beebe in pick 67; the board had better options right there. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They reached a country mile for Mohamed Kamara at the Round 4 slot, and the board is aghast. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Beaux Limmer at the 103rd pick is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
