When the story of this class is written, it opens with Will Sheppard at slot 252, a reach of 58 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Martinez. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Dolphins indulged a want in Winston Jr. while a need in edge rusher and interior defensive lineman stayed open.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
