Whoever sat across the table from the Packers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.
Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.
Pick-by-Pick
They took Sedrick Van Pran at par in pick 65, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Cody Schrader at Round 6, Pick 3 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
