You could see the war room lean forward. Kobe King at Round 7, Pick 31 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Conner reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
