When the story of this class is written, it opens with Trey Zuhn III at slot 180, a reach of 66 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. On value alone, Hecht makes the weekend a net positive.
Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Pick-by-Pick
In pick 20 they get a moveable chess piece at tight end. A clean fit for the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Emmanuel McNeil-Warren at Round 2, Pick 17 squarely in line with his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Lee Hunter at the 62nd overall pick. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Mike Washington Jr. in the 82nd pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A need, and now a little less of one.
You do not let a wide receiver like Ted Hurst reach pick No. 108 and blink. They did not. The roster fit checks out.
The board fumbled Sam Hecht all the way to slot 112, and they scooped it up. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They let Zxavian Harris come to them and pounced at the Round 5 slot. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Trey Zuhn III at Round 5, Pick 40 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
The board had cheaper options than Toriano Pride Jr. at the 196th pick, and it noticed. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
A quiet steal in pick 235: Aiden Fisher for less than the market said. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Andre Fuller at No. 246 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
