A solid, sensible weekend for the Dolphins: B.

· 7 picks
· 1 steals
· 3 reaches
They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Keaton Bills, 29 picks early at No. 204. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Rosengarten.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 21 they get a wrecking ball inside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Xavier Worthy at No. 61 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Roger Rosengarten at the 157th overall pick is money in the bank, a offensive lineman taken below his worth. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Drake Nugent at Round 6, Pick 8 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It fills a real need, too.
They talked themselves into Garret Greenfield at pick No. 197, and the board did not agree. A need, and now a little less of one.
Keaton Bills in the 204th pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A straight-up fair deal on LaDarius Henderson at the 241st overall pick, value and slot in agreement. The roster fit checks out.
