The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Mike Sainristil, the No. 82 name on the board, in pick 105. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Reaching for Hart left real value on the table behind him. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.

Mike Sainristil at No. 105 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They paid up for Cam Hart at the 125th overall pick when waiting would have done the job. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A conviction pick on Theo Johnson at pick 141 that the board grades a round light. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Jawhar Jordan is a better player than Round 7, Pick 3 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Matthew Jones at the Round 7 slot nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They took Eric Gentry at par in pick 253, which is nothing to complain about. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
