The Patriots treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the 236th pick on Seth McLaughlin a full 53 spots early. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Henderson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
