The Dolphins lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. It grades a D, and the process earned it.
They have staked the next five years on Drake Maye, which is the only story that really matters here. The Milton pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.
Every board in the league had McLachlan lower, and that gap is the story.
