Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Jarrian Jones got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at the Round 5 slot. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting Owens proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
