You build a draft on nights like this. Donovan Edwards had no business being available in the 240th pick, and the Patriots did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
Reaching for Parr left real value on the table behind him. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.
Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
