Somebody took the Texans to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

If Burch pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

There is no spinning it; the board won this weekend going away.
