The Max Bredeson selection is the head-turner. The Lions reached 142 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

They banked enough surplus on McNeil-Warren to cover a lot of smaller sins. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
