Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Ozzy Trapilo, the No. 85 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 124th pick.
The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.
