Somebody in the 250th overall pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while Dont'e Thornton Jr., the No. 185 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most. The skill positions did well by the weekend.
