You build a draft on nights like this. Chimere Dike had no business being available in the 250th overall pick, and the Commanders did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
