The Texans spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Cam Skattebo, the No. 114 name on the board, in the 235th pick. No fireworks, but a solid B.
For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. They will need Booker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The roster is better shaped than it was, with running back chief among the fixes.

Pick-by-Pick
Tyler Booker at Round 1, Pick 19 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. The roster fit checks out.
Derrick Harmon at the Round 2 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Steal is underselling it; Tyler Warren at pick No. 84 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
They robbed the room for Maxwell Hairston here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Taking Jake Majors in pick 164 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
The board fumbled Cam Skattebo all the way to slot 235, and they scooped it up. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
