The real work happened on the phones. The Giants fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety. The cost of the Milton III reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 10 they get a press-man option on the boundary, even if it was a touch early. A real need, handled.
In slot 23 they get a matchup problem out wide, though they paid up to get him. Exactly the need they had to hit.
A slide stopped in Round 2, Pick 15, with Jordan Morgan worth more than the price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Ruke Orhorhoro in pick 70 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
