The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Vikings spent their marquee pick on Jayden Daniels, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety. That Hart pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 11 they get their guy under center for the next decade. The biggest hole, addressed.
Chris Braswell at the 64th overall pick is money in the bank, a edge rusher taken below his worth. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Mike Sainristil at the Round 3 slot is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
DeWayne Carter in Round 4, Pick 8 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Mohamed Kamara slid further than he should have, and No. 129 is lovely value for the edge rusher. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
No drama and no debate, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint went about where he belonged in pick No. 148. A need, and now a little less of one.
They barely believed it either: Cam Hart still on the board at slot 160. Stacking talent where they were already deep.
They took Layden Robinson at par in the 168th pick, which is nothing to complain about. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
A straight-up fair deal on Trey Knox at pick No. 179, value and slot in agreement. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Myles Jones at the 230th overall pick. They doubled down on a strength rather than a need.
