When the story of this class is written, it opens with Tanner McLachlan at No. 190, a reach of 32 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Benson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
