After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Vikings committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
The Hall pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 11 they get their quarterback of the future at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Jackson Powers-Johnson in slot 42 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They paid a round early for Darius Robinson in the 109th pick, more than the board wanted. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
A premium they did not need to pay, Cam Hart a notch or two before his time. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
They paid sticker price for Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint in No. 145, and that is fine. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
