For all the boxes ticked, the Cardinals skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.
Reaching for Williams left real value on the table behind him. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.
