The Vikings spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Kaleb Johnson, the No. 51 name on the board, in No. 97. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 2 of 8, with running back the one that mattered most. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
