The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Every board in the league had Holker lower, and that gap is the story.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Khalil Mack pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.
