The Commanders torched the value chart for Kendall Milton, taking him 129 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.
They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want.
Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with cornerback, edge rusher and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 15th overall pick they get a cornerstone up front at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Jordan Morgan in slot 32 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

Fair-plus on Curtis Jacobs, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
