The steal of the weekend belongs to the Patriots and Bertrand: A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Patriots were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

However the rest shakes out, Bertrand at that price is a win they earned. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Reaching for Rattler left real value on the table behind him. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

In the end it comes back to Olumuyiwa Fashanu, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
