The search is over. The Commanders handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development.

However the rest shakes out, Mitchell at that price is a win they earned. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. With edge rusher and interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
