The Tyler Owens pick is the one that will follow the Packers into the fall. They took him 53 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

Getting Beebe where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.25 · Pick 25 · Marvin Harrison Jr. · WR · rank 1
Marvin Harrison Jr. in the 25th pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R2.9 · Pick 41 · Joe Alt · OT · rank 3
They robbed the room for Joe Alt here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R2.26 · Pick 58 · Tyler Guyton · OT · rank 28
Tyler Guyton at the Round 2 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. It fills a real need, too.
R3.25 · Pick 88 · Cooper Beebe · OG · rank 47
Cooper Beebe in pick 88 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. The roster fit checks out.
R3.28 · Pick 91 · Bralen Trice · DE-EDGE · rank 63
They barely believed it either: Bralen Trice still on the board at Round 3, Pick 28. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
R4.26 · Pick 126 · Marist Liufau · LB · rank 166
A big swing on Marist Liufau at slot 126, well ahead of any board in the building. It adds depth where they could use a little.
R5.33 · Pick 169 · Tip Reiman · TE · rank 182
A reach on Tip Reiman in Round 5, Pick 33; the board had better options right there. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
R6.27 · Pick 202 · Tyler Owens · S · rank 255
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Tyler Owens well ahead of where he belonged. A minor need, but a need all the same.
R6.44 · Pick 219 · Jaylan Ford · LB · rank 205
Jaylan Ford at slot 219 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
R7.25 · Pick 245 · Myles Murphy · DL · rank 225
Myles Murphy at No. 245 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
R7.35 · Pick 255 · Ryan Watts · CB · rank 261
Ryan Watts at the Round 7 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
