They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Joe Milton III, 61 picks early at pick No. 103. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
Getting Worthy where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 3 they get a go-to option on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
Amarius Mims slid further than he should have, and the Round 2 slot is lovely value for the offensive lineman. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Xavier Worthy in pick 69 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They reached a country mile for Joe Milton III at the 103rd overall pick, and the board is aghast. It fills a real need, too.
Theo Johnson at pick No. 139 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A top-tier running back at a bargain, Braelon Allen in Round 6, Pick 7, plain and simple. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They robbed the room for Jordan Magee here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Joshua Cephus in No. 239 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
