The Eagles' one glaring miss is cornerback, a need they left exactly as they found it.
That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trade work was a quiet net positive.
They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a cornerstone up front at fair value.
They paid sticker price for Bryson Nesbit in slot 57, and that is fine. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Jonah Monheim in pick No. 89. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Shemar Turner in the 91st overall pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
They took Joshua Gray at par in pick 93, which is nothing to complain about. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Marques Cox at Round 5, Pick 25 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A slide stopped in the 185th pick, with Jaishawn Barham worth more than the price. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Nic Anderson at No. 206 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Korey Foreman. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
