Thirty-one other rooms let Danny Stutsman slide, and the Cardinals were the ones holding the card at pick No. 151. Highway robbery. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
The Dart reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.
Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 16 they get a long-term starter on the line. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Trey Amos at the 47th pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Jaxson Dart at the Round 3 slot is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Rylie Mills this early at pick 113. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
They will replay Danny Stutsman at Round 5, Pick 14 for years; that is how good the value is. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
